Still staring at fluid-papers... But until now they just stare back... I'm missing some calculus it seams... 

So here are some other waves instead that I find oddly satisfying and terribly wrong at the same time. 
Figuring out how to tile the canvas like this took me some time and back to some code from weeks ago.

Actually wanted to throw myself at fluid dynamics today and did a copy pasta of some Keijiro-Code.... This is not it! 
Because I failed at understanding how K infuses his shader into the camera-output.... Very frustrating. So i started this, thinking it would be easy. Turns out my head wasnt correctly UV unwrapped, so I had to do some position trickery with the shader. That took way longer then expected. Also... What do you expect to see in the reflections, when the background is black... 
Anyway. Learning is doing is learning. 
Now I just need to learn to go to bed in time...

Tried to visualize the paths that yesterdays agents take. It's hard to make it look nice in 3D... Including diffusion and everything. At least I tried;) 
This is my final task for the @arsiliath Workshop. I'm so happy that I did this workshop. I learned so incredibly much! What an amazing journey. 
So now... Back to audio-visuals I guess. Let's see what Compute can do for me here ;)

Converted the agents codealong by @arsiliath to 3D. Couldn't make it work perfectly yet. Todos:
Agents have a strong tendency towards forming diagonals. Probably due to "multiple of"-bugs. I remember this bug from 2D...
Also the motion of the agents is quite jittery, because I have to set the read/write texture to such a low resolution and agents always round their positions to the cell they are in... 
Anyway. 
This actually concludes the incredible @arsiliath Workshop. If you have a chance and are interested in this stuff, do it!!!!! It's freakin awesome.

Today I made it work, tomorrow I'll make it nice. 

Getting back to some of the first code that I had to write for the @arsiliath Workshop was hard.... I posted about the edge of chaos 31 days or 31 posts ago. And now, because I did this incredible Workshop, I can even do it in 3D... What an amazing journey. 
But I have a strong feeling, that this is just the start of something.

I need more time for reaction diffusion in real 3D so I went back to the @arsiliath codealongs and did his #historystack #computeshader. 

Learned a lot on the way. Still not sure if I totally get how this Graphics.DrawMeshInstanceIndirect works... But it sure is powerful.
